Umbilical hernia with giant proboscis in a 10-year old
Although umbilical hernias are common in children, most close spontaneously or are operated within 5 years of age. We report a case of neglected proboscis umbilical hernia in a 10-year-old boy which became incarcerated and was about the size of the boy's abdominal cavity.
