A 15-month-old boy was diagnosed with malignant hypertension caused by a catecholamine excreting retroperitoneal paraganglioma consisting of a composite phaeochromocytoma/differentiating neuroblastoma. After alpha-blockade the tumor was excised. No adjuvant treatment was given, and he is doing well...
