This research is intended to know the antioxidant activity of ethanol ekstrak of banana kepok by qualitative and quantitative method of DPPH, with UV-Vis spectrophotometry at 517 nm wavelength. Extract of banana kepok flower is made in concentrations of 4 ppm, 8 ppm, 12 ppm, 16 ppm, and 20 ppm. As a comparison used vitamin C. The results of IC50 ethanol extract of banana kepok flower (Musa paradisiaca L.) is 13.11 ppm and vitamin C is 1.11 ppm. If IC50 is smaller than 200 ppm, it can be used as an antioxidant.
