סיכום: | Background: Nutrition problems such as anemia or low hemoglobin level are still concern for many experts. Low hemoglobin level is mainly caused by less consumtion of some nutrition essentially need like protein, iron vitamin C and vitamin A. Childbearing-aged women possess greater risk of suffering from anemia as they experience regularly menstrual bleedings. Based on data from Health Office of Sleman, prevalence of anemia in District of Cangkringan is still high that is 51.33%. Anemia on these women can lead to underweighted childbirth and mother's death. Purpose: This research is to find out correlation between consuming protein, iron, vitamin C and vitamin A with hemoglobin level in childbearing-aged women in District of Cangkringan, Sleman. Method of the Research: This research is analytical survey with cross sectional as its approach. The number of subject research was 32 people chosen by multi stage random sampling. Data of protein, iron, vitamin C and vitamin A were collected through interview using 3 x 24-hour recall method. Hemoglobin was checked using Spuit Injection, finally the data were analysed using Pearson Product Moment correlation. Result: Based on univariate analysis, protein consumption was 34.4%, and this was classified intensified. While iron consumption was still under 100%, vitamin C consumption was mostly less than 93.8%. Differently, vitamin A consumption subject that most are classified as over 81,2%. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is no correlation between consuming protein, iron, vitamin C and vitamin A with hemoglobin level in childbearing-aged in District of Cangkringan, Sleman. Thus, people of the region are expected to be more attentive to their meal to suffice the recommended dietary allow (RDA). |
