Summary:Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is serious health problem in developed and developing countries, including in Indonesia, both in terms of morbidity and Anti-Tuberculosis main mortalitys. drugs like isoniazid, rifampicin, and pyrazinamide are the most widely used drug in the treatment of TB and drug the drug, has the potential hepatotoxicity. In Indonesia, 50% of patients with acute hepatitis is the result of a drug reaction. malnutrition risk to lead to diseases such as tuberculosis. The state of malnutrition in TB patients, will increase the risk of hepatotoxicity due to malnutrition that results in liver becomes slower in the metabolism of OAT, then increased toxicity. Objective: this research aimed to determined the relationship between the treatment of tuberculosis in tuberculosis patients with malnutrition on the incidence of drug-induced hepatitis. Methods: The study design usied analytic observational, cross-sectional approach. The number of survey respondents as many as 35 patients with tuberculosis malnutrition. this research used purposive sampling. Data were analyzed with Chi-Square test with SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Results: The results showed that the value of p = 0.000 (p <0.005), which indicates that there was a relationship between the treatment of tuberculosis in tuberculosis patients with malnutrition on the incidence of drug-induced hepatitis in BKKPM Surakarta Conclusion: There was a relationship between the treatment of tuberculosis in tuberculosis patients with malnutrition on the incidence of drug-induced hepatitis in BBKPM Surakarta.
