Summary

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital structure, profitability, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership on firm value. The company has long-term goal is to maximize shareholder wealth. Maximizing shareholder wealth can be reached by maximizing the present value. The 88 sample companies be found by purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria. The data analysis technique used is the multiple regression analysis. The data used in the form of external secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2015 period with observations made on manufacturing companies using SPSS 17. The results showed that: 1) capital structure has a positive effect on firm value, 2) profitability has a positive effect on firm value 3) institutional ownership has a positive effect on firm value and 4) managerial ownership has a negative effect on firm value.
