Summary

Background: the one who was entering elderly period would complaint about health. One of complaint was their pain of knee osteoarthritis. Pain of knee osteoarthritis by elderly can effect to capacity to physical activity daily. Based on pre study in posyandu nedyo waras and ngudi waras of jebres, majority of members of posyandu elderly undergo pain of the knee osteoarthritis. Objective : to know relationship between pain of knee osteoarthritis with physical activity elderly method: the study was using observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample was member of posyandu elderly nedyo waras and ngudi waras of jebres as many as 64 elderly's and taking samplle use purposive sampling . data study from visual analogue scale ( vase ) questionare and physical activity GPPAQ (questionnaires general practice physical activity questionnaire). Analysis data using test chi square with significance 5 %. Result : analysts of chi square test obtained value p = 0,001 (p<0,05) so that decision hawas accepted . Ha was accepted mean there was relationship between pain osteoarthritis of knees in physical activity elderly the posyandu elderly nedyo waras and ngudi waras in august 2016
