520 |a This study entitled "Didactic Design Types of Triangles to Increase The Level of Geometric Thinking Junior High School Student". This research is motivated by the learning process less meaningful, assignments and learning activities that do not encourage geometric thinking level of students, and geometric thinking level of students is still low. Based on the purpose of this study was to create a didactic design alternatives that are expected to enhance the students' geometric thinking level. Didactic design alternatives are also prepared based learning trajectory types of triangles. Then didactic design alternatives have been developed to implement the class VII student who has never received learning the types of triangle. The research method used in this study is qualitative data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The result showed that an increase in the level of geometric thinking students. This didactic design can be used as an alternative instructional materials on learning the concept of the types of triangles.
