Summary

The process of designing is a process that will produce something new, that has not been created before. The term design are familiar in the world of architecture, because the architecture is the science of designing the built environment. In the design process of much-needed creativity. One of the factors that affect the creativity factor is experience, which in this case is experience in architecture, one of them by visiting the exhibition architecture. Research conducted on the students study architectural engineering at the Indonesia University Of Education aims to find out how big the influence of a visit to an exhibition of the students ' creativity in doing a task portion. This research uses descriptive method quantitative approach, with data collection techniques using question form and test. The results showed that the experience of a visit to the exhibition is included in the categories high, whereas whereas creativity is quite a task. Based on the results of research conducted can be known that visits to the positive effect of the exhibition creativity tasks, but the effect was not significant, with the correlation coefficient of low-categories include all. Visit to the exhibition influence against creativity task gets a very small value, the remaining creativity more determined by other factors. Keywords: Exhibition Visits, Creativity, Duty. Proses mendesain merupakan suatu proses yang akan menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru, yang belum tercipta sebelumnya. Istilah desain sudah tidak asing lagi di dunia arsitektur, karena arsitektur adalah ilmu merancang lingkungan binaan. Dalam proses desain tentu sangat dibutuhkan kreativitas. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas adalah faktor pengalaman, yang mana dalam hal ini adalah pengalaman dalam berarsitektur, salah satunya dengan mengunjungi pameran arsitektur. Penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa program studi teknik arsitektur, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kunjungan ke pameran terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tugas perkuliahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman kunjungan ke pameran termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan sedangkan kreativitas tugas tergolong cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kunjungan ke pameran berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas tugas, namun pengaruh tersebut tidak signifikan, dengan koefisien korelasi yang termasuk kategori rendah sekali. Pengaruh kunjungan ke pameran terhadap kreativitas tugas mendapatkan nilai yang sangat kecil, sisanya kreativitas lebih banyak ditentukan oleh faktor lain.
