Sebagai gerakan sosial yang bermakna keselarasan dan kebersamaan, Alliance Violin Community (AVC) Bandung merupakan salah satu contoh teladan komunitas. Namun perkembangan AVC sampai saat ini kurang maksimal sebab partisipasi anggota senior makin lama makin rendah. Hal ini disebabkan kebanyakan pembelajaran di AVC hanya difokuskan pada tingkat dasar. Berangkat dari masalah itu peneliti menerapkan scale training yang didasari konsep perpetual canon dan variation untuk mempersatukan seluruh tingkat serta tipe belajar dalam satu materi. Tujuannya agar dihasilkan bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, motivasi, minat dan perkembangan kemampuan seluruh anggota. Scale training tersebut (untuk selanjutnya disebutkan scale training PCV) memiliki beberapa karakterisik yaitu, (1) digunakan untuk pembelajaran dalam ansambel (2) dilengkapi mengiringi dengan musik (3) diaplikasikan pada karya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah DBR (Desgin Based Research) dengan prosedur (1) identifikasi masalah (2) desain (3) pelaksanaan (4) Evaluasi (5) refleksi dan revisi akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Scale Training PCV dapat menaikkan pastisipasi aktif peserta dari 35% ke 100%, partisipasi emosional anggota AVC terhadap bahan ajarnya 82%, perkembangan kemampuan teknik dengan skor 6.9 ke 8.7. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar Scale Training PCV dengan prinsip perpetual canon dilengkapi notasi dan audio, serta aplikasi pada karya berkualitas, efektif digunakan dalam String Group Lesson. As a social movement that has a theme of harmony and unity, Alliance Violin Community (AVC) in Bandung is one of the community model, but until today the progress of AVC is still not to the fullest because the senior participation is decreasing. These things occur because most of the focus of AVC is at the lower levels. from this problem researcher designed a Scale Training that is based on Perpetual Canon and Variation concept to combine all the levels of string instrument and different types of learning. The goal is to produced teaching materials that can increase participation , motivation , interests and development ability of all members .This Scale Training (afterwards will be called scale training PVC) has some Principe; (1) used for string ensemble (2) completes accompaniment (3) apply to the piece of music. The method of this research is DBR (Design Based Research) with procedure; (1) identification of a problem (2) design (3) put to action (4) evolution (5) reflection and final revision. The result of this research showed that the scale training PVC method increased the amount of active participants from 35% to 100%, the emotional participant of AVC had a result of 82%, and the technic ability increased from 6.9 to 8.7. This results of this research showed that the scale training PCV method could increase the participation, technical skill, motivation and interest perpetual canon is completed with note and audio with application on good creation of music String Group Lesson.
