Kenyataannyatidaksemuamahasiswa yang telahmelaksanakan PPL berminatmenjadi guru, makadariitudalampenelitianinipenulisinginmelihatseberapabesarminatmahasiswamenjadi guru vokasional. Tujuan yang hendakdicapaidalampenelitianiniadalahuntukmengetahuiseberapabesarminatmahasiswamenjadi guru secaraumummaupunseberapabesarminat yang dieskpersikansertadiwujudkan oleh mahasiswauntukmenjadi guru vokasional. Sampeldalampenelitianiniadalahpurposive samplingdengan 34 mahasiswadarijumlah 80 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik mesin UPI angkatan 2014 yang telahmelaksanakan program pengalamanlapangan (PPL). Dimanadalampenelitianini 34 mahasiswatermasukke program studikonsentrasiotomotif. Jenisinstrumen yang digunakanyaituangket (kuesioner) minatmenjadi guru vokasional. Hasilpengolahan data dan analisis data denganmenggunakanstatistikdeskriptifdidapatkanhasilminatmenjadi guruvokasionalpada mahasiswasangattinggi, yaitusebanyak 22 mahasiswa (64,706%) yang dilihatdariminatmenjadi guru vokasionalsecaraumum. Apabiladilihatdariminatyang diekspresikan oleh mahasiswauntukmenjadi guru vokasional, yaitusebanyak 25 mahasiswa (73,530%), sedangkanapabiladilihatdariminat yang diwujudkan oleh mahasiswauntukmenjadi guru vokasional, yaitusebanyak 18 mahasiswa (52,941%). Disimpulkanbahwaminatmenjadi guru vokasional pada mahasiswapendidikanteknikmesin UPI angkatan 2014 sangattinggi, baikdilihatdariminat yang diekspresikanmaupunyang diwujudkanolehmahasiswauntukmenjadi guru vokasionaltetapsangattinggi yang dilihatdarihasilpenelitian;---This background in this research with by the purpose of the LPTK (UPI) which is creating or producing graduate students to become educators, to make it happen LPTK (UPI) conducts a Program PengalamanLapangan (PPL) courses. The reality not all students who have implementedPPL are interested in becoming a teacher, therefore in this research the author wants to see how much interest students become vocational teachers. The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out how much interest students become teachers in general or how much interest is expressed and realized by students to become vocational teachers. The sample in this research was purposive sampling with 34 students from the total 80 students of Mechanical Engineering EducationUPI generations 2014 who have implemented a Program PengalamanLapangan (PPL). Where in this research 34 students were included in the study concentration automotiveprogram. The types of instruments used are questionnaires of interest in becoming vocational teachers. Theresults of data processing and data analysis using descriptive statistics, the results of the interest in becoming a vocational teacher in students were very high, that is as much 22 students (64.706%) which is viewed from the interest in becoming a vocational teacher in general. When viewed from the interest expressed by students in becoming a vocational teacher, that is as much 25 students (73.530%),whereas when viewed from the interest realized by students in becoming a vocational teacher, that is as much 18 students (52.941%). It was concluded that the interest in becoming a vocational teacher in students of mechanical engineering education UPI generations 2014 was very high, good viewa from the interests is expressed or realizedin becoming a vocational teacher by students remained very highis viewed from the results of the research.
