Teknik pewarnaan dengan cat air yang terdapat pada Mata Kuliah Dasar Desain Mode terdiri dari tiga teknik, yaitu teknik pewarnaan kering, basah dan mix media. Teknik pewarnaan kering dan teknik pewarnaan basah dengan cat air dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk pembuatan desain busana. Teknik pewarnaan dengan cat air merupakan salah satu penyelesaian desain busana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai penerapan hasil belajar teknik pewarnaan dengan cat air pada pembuatan desain busana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode desktiptif yang memiliki tujuan untuk membantu memecahkan masalah yang ada pada masa sekarang dan berpusat pada permasalahan yang aktual. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel total, yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana Departemen PKK FPTK UPI angkatan 2015 berjumlah 48 orang yang telah menempuh Mata Kuliah Dasar Desain Mode. Instrumen atau alat penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa kuisioner (angket). Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar teknik pewarnaan dengan cat air yang terdapat pada Mata Kuliah Dasar Desain Mode kurang dari setengahnya diterapkan mahasiswa pada pembuatan desain busana pada Mata Kuliah Desain Mode Busana yang ditinjau dari konsep dasar pewarnaan, alat dan bahan pewarnaan serta teknik pewarnaan dengan cat air pada pembuatan desain busana. ;---Watercolor coloring techniques found in the Fashion Design Basic Course consist of three techniques, namely dry, wet and media mix techniques. Dry coloring techniques and wet coloring techniques with watercolors can be used as an alternative for fashion design. Coloring techniques with watercolors are one of the solutions to fashion design. The purpose of this study was to obtain data regarding the application of learning outcomes of water color coloring techniques in the manufacture of fashion designs. The research method used is the descriptive method which has the purpose to help solve problems that exist today and center on the actual problems. The sample in this study used a total sample, namely students of the Fashion Design Education Study Program Department of PKK UPI FPTK 2015 totaling 48 people who have taken the Basic Course of Fashion Design. The research instrument or tool used in this study was a questionnaire (questionnaire). The findings of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of watercolor coloring techniques found in the Fashion Design Basic Course are less than half applied by students in the manufacture of fashion designs in the Fashion Design Course in terms of the basic concepts of coloring, coloring materials and coloring techniques. with watercolors in the manufacture of fashion designs.
