| Summary: | ABSTRAK Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kisah-kisah perempuan dalam Alquran dilihat dari struktur generik dan fitur leksikogramatika yang digunakan dan bagaimana perempuan direpresentasikan dalam kisah perempuan dalam Alquran. Penelitian ini mengikuti kerangka analisis wacana dengan fokus pada eksplorasi ciri struktur generik wacana dan leksikogramatika yang membangun struktur generik. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri atas empat cerita yang dipilih dengan kerangka purposive sampling yaitu kisah Ratu Balqis, Ibu Musa As, Maryam Binti Imran dan Zulaikha yang terdapat pada surah berbeda dalam Alquran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya realisasi unsur generik yang berulang dalam setiap cerita yaitu unsur Orientasi, Komplikasi, Evaluasi, Resolusi dan koda. Selain itu, representasi perempuan ditunjukkan dengan pemakaian proses mental yang dominan muncul dalam setiap kisah untuk mengurai emosi, afeksi, serta kognisi tokoh dalam cerita sehingga pembaca bisa juga merasakan emosi yang sama seperti dalam kisah. GENRE ANALYSIS OF WOMEN'S STORIES IN THE QURAN ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the stories of women in the Alquran seen from the generic structure and lexicogrammatical features used and how women are represented in the stories of women in the Alquran. This study follows the framework of discourse analysis with a focus on exploring the characteristics of the generic structure of discourse and lexicogrammatical constructing the generic structure. The data used in this study consisted of four stories selected with a purposive sampling framework, the story of Ratu Balqis, Ibu Musa As, Maryam Binti Imran and Zulaikha which are found in different surah in the Alquran. The result of the research shows that there are generic steps that are repeated in each story, steps of Orientation, Complications, Evaluation, Resolution and Codes. In addition, the representation of women is shown by the use of the dominant mental processes that appear in each story to unravel the emotions, affections, and cognitions of the characters in the story so that the reader can also feel the same emotions as in the story.
