| 520 | |a Reproductive health is a condition of complete physical, mental and social well-being that is no disease and infirmity relating to the reproductive system, its functions and processes. Reproductive health is very important for adolescent development. Reproductive health in adolescents without parents' roles will cause adolescents to carry out risky sexual behavior deviations. One of the efforts to prevent risky sexual behavior is the role of good parents in providing accurate knowledge regarding reproductive health. This study aims to determine the relationship between parents' roles on reproductive health behavior in adolescents at Citra Bangsa Junior High School, Depok. The research data were taken by using the Parental Role and Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) questionnaires. This questionnaires have been tested for validity and reliability. This study uses the Chi-Square method with a descriptive cross-sectional approach, the population of adolescents at SMP Citra Bangsa Depok totaling 111 respondents using a total sampling technique. The results shows the relationship between the role of parents and reproductive health behavior p-value 0.000 (p<0.05) OR = 6.663. It can be concluded that the role of parents is related to adolescent reproductive health behavior, so the role of parents is needed to increase the prevention of risky sexual behavior. | ||
