| Summary: | This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency and firm size on dividend policy with profitability as an intervening variable. The population in this study were 54 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and 28 manufacturing companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange during the 2017-2021 period, using the full sampling sample selection method. Data analysis used the panel data regression method which was processed using Eviews version 12. The result of the study show that (1) liquidity has a direct effect on dividend policy on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, (2) solvency has no direct effect on dividend policy on Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, (3) company size has a direct effect on dividend policy on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, (4) liquidity has a direct effect on dividend policy through profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, (5) solvency has no direct effect on dividend policy through profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, (6) company size has a direct effect on dividend policy through profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange. |
