520 | |a One of the physical components that needed by athletes is flexibility. Flexibility is the ability of joints to move through their full range. Pilates is purposed to improve body flexibility and strength. The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of pilates on the flexibility of sports teams athletes based from existing literature. This paper use the Literature Review method. The literature used in this paper is a Randomize Control Trial type in the range of 2015-2020. The literature that have been found are screened based on paper criteria and tested using the methodology quality PEDro Scale. There are 4 journals that can be used according to paper criteria.. Based from sit and reach test, the results from 2 literature showed a significant increase in the flexibility of the pilates group with a value of P <0.05. in addition, according from 1 literature, pilates increasing service and smash abilities. Which means that Pilates have an effect to increas the flexibility component or playing abilities of team sports athletes. | ||
